The Body Shop is a shop that I have always loved, but from a sideline. I have never actively shopped there, or tested many of their products, but have always wanted to. While in search for a pre-serum and additions to my skincare routine, I decided to stop into the Body Shop where I saw this, the “Tea Tree Anti-Imperfection Daily Solution”.

I spotted this foundation when it was recently released on drugstore shelves. The claim of “Pro-Matte” immediately caught my attention. They also sell a Pro-Glow version of this foundation, that allows for a dewy finish. Although, as someone who loves a matte-finish to my foundations, I was very eager to purchase this specific one.

I am relatively new to the world of colour correcting products. Green to counteract redness of acne. Orange to counteract the purple of under eye circles. The only product I had seen publicized by the make up community was Urban Decay’s colour correcting products. Unfortunately, at $35CAD a product, I would rather have the redness of my acne than pay that.
So, when Maybelline came out with their own colour correcting products, I was very eager to try them out.

After hearing Kathleenlights rave about this powder, I grew more and more curious about how good it actually was. As someone who is a setting powder addict, I am always in the search for the next best one. Here’s what I thought of this “god sent” powder:

This is a review that I am very eager and excited to write because of my undying love for this product. e.l.f. Cosmetics have some great products, but this one right here, the Acne Fighting Foundation is, without a doubt, my favourite one. I have repurchased this time and time again and I will tell you why.

Here it is: the infamous Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer. The “to die for” drug store bronzer. Once this was picked up in the YouTube beauty community, it absolutely EXPLODED and I saw reviews everywhere. I eventually gave in and went to my local Walmart to buy it and see what all of the hype was about, and here are my thoughts:

Kat Von D is one of the high end brands that I get very excited purchasing from. From my experience most of her products are very well formulated and the result is worth the money you invest in it. This is a review of her Shade & Light Contour Palette.

I am always amazed with the quality of Juvia’s Place’s eye shadow. So, you can imagine that the SECOND I saw they announced a new palette, I jumped right on it.
The Zulu Palette by Juvia’s Place is an absolutely stunning palette to even just look at. The packaging is, as always, beautiful. The colour choice in this palette, also beautiful. The combinations of the colours in the palette work together so well and are very appealing to the eye.
If you are someone who only used very natural-toned eye shadows, then I do not think this palette will benefit you at all. Not only are the colours very bright and in your face, they are also VERY pigmented, making it hard to create simplistic looks using the palette.
